An impressive list Kathie. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteYou are very devoted, or completely obsessed. I love it! I wish I had your passion and commitment to the birds. After my recent Texas lifers, I get even more excited on your bird outings. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteGreat job Kathie, I am happy to see your passion doesn't diminish even in colder climates :)
ReplyDeleteWow! That's quite a list! Isn't birding grand?
ReplyDeleteWow. Terrific and you do get around though I see your Minnesota list is a little short. Stop by
ReplyDeleteHi Kathie. I have at long last caught up with your recent exploits.
ReplyDeleteWhow what a grand time you had in NY and I so enjoyed the tour of buildings, statutes and of course the people. Great to see how your local State lists are growing.
Is listing an obsessive thing?
I admire your dedication to "listing" Kathie. You are squared away lady! What great birds you have seen. Plenty more out there!
ReplyDeleteDenise, thank you! I hope you had a great weekend too!
ReplyDeleteGaelyn, I guess I am obsessed! But I feel my obsession is helping the birds so I just go with it!
Celeste, no it hasn't but it's been a bit dull around here seeing all the same species all the time. However, life is starting to get exciting again! The snow has melted so I can finally get outside and migration has begun!
Julie, you know it!
Troutbirder, Minnesota is on my wish list! I was there once but I only crossed over the border from Forest City, Iowa and I think I failed to record the birds I saw!
Frank, it has become that for me I think, but I have fun with it. It is a way for me to track where I have been and what I have seen. It is a game I play with myself. I am not competing against anyone, I just like to see where I have been and what I have seen. Each list is a memory of a day and a place.
Donna, I know you have seen more than me and in more places than I have been! I hope we can go together again sometime. I really want you to show me those Rosy finches!
