I’ve crowded so many things in over the past few weeks…
That it’s all been a blur…
and though I feel a bit off balance,
I still haven’t lost my head!
So after a bit of cleaning up…
and checking things out…
and a bit of a snack,
I’ll be ready to start counting birds,
and get back to blogging again!
I have so many blog posts to get caught up on!
See you soon!
Flowers from Gus for our 35th Anniversary yesterday!
Note: All photos were taken today in my apartment or yard. Bird species are House Sparrows, White-breasted Nuthatch, European Starling fledglings, Gray Catbird, and Northern Cardinal. My yard is full of begging baby birds and their exhausted parents!
Lucky Gus! Happy anniversary, and thanks for blogging among us!
ReplyDeleteSandy, you make me smile! Cute comment!
DeleteHappy Anniversary Kathie! Your flowers are gorgeous. It is fun seeing all the baby birds around the yard. Happy Birding!
ReplyDeleteThanks Eileen! The roses were a much appreciated surprise! And yes, the baby birds are fun AND noisy!

DeleteHi Katie...Cute post...using the birds to show how your feeling is very clever ; }
ReplyDeleteI have been so bad the past couple of weeks with my bird count I need to get busy with it again too!!
Your flower are gorgeous ...Gus has good taste : }
Happy late Anniversary wishes!!
Is that round metal ball feeder with the cardinal in it Raccoon proof ..lol!!
Grace
Grace, thanks! It was one of those things that just seemed to come together! I do not know if that globe feeder is raccoon proof as I have not had to deal with any. It helps deter squirrels and larger, peskier birds like grackles, pigeons and doves but they still manage to find ways to get some seed out of it. Still, it is one of my favorites and I have dragged it around 3 different states so far!
DeleteThe flowers are beautiful and the birds are comical.
