1. Morning Glory Blue at Columbus Circle
Last weekend Gus and I traveled to New York city with my youngest brother. While I have been here several times now with C, this was Gus’ first time to go and walk the streets of New York City. After arriving Friday evening we took a short walk around the city on the upper west side. The next morning while the rest of the world was painting the town green for St. Patrick's Day we walked around some more. I knew we would be walking a long way and I knew that this day would be about the sights and not about birds, so I left my Nikon D80 at the apartment and took along my small Nikon Coolpix S4000. As I was reviewing my snapshots of the day I was struck by how blue the skies were and how many shades of blue there were, thus inspiring this post. I hope you enjoy this photo essay of New York City Skies in Shades of Blue!
